Media Finance Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Media Finance Specialist to support the operations of a multinational account. This individual will work closely with finance, media, and creative teams across multiple markets, ensuring that all financial and operational tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, budgeting, and media planning, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for driving results.

Key Responsibilities

Finance:

  • Act as a liaison between performance, finance, buying teams, and clients to ensure all financial deliverables are completed on time, both monthly and quarterly.
  • Track and provide weekly reminders to the team regarding pending finance tasks.
  • Ensure accurate actualization of media plans and address any issues related to finance or invoicing.

Budgeting:

  • Collaborate with the planning team and creative agency to update budgets across markets and submit to clients weekly.
  • Address any budgeting issues that arise during the process.

Operational Requirements:

  • Conduct detailed checks of all media plans and provide weekly reports to the global team.
  • Ensure minimal errors in estimates and assist teams with any inquiries regarding estimates.
  • Create and manage third-party funding plans, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided before each campaign starts.
  • Collaborate with teams to submit proof of delivery on a quarterly basis.
  • Register new media vendors in the system and manage annual rebates, ensuring their correct application in plans and budgets.
  • Handle ad hoc budget requests and update the monthly FX rate for all teams.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of relevant experience in media, finance, or accounting preferred.
  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational and process-driven skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of independently moving projects forward, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Willing to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders from various teams and cultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
