Integrated Media Manager (Marketing)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Integrated Media Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is essential to delivering high-quality media plans and campaigns across a range of clients. You will play a key role in managing campaigns from ideation to execution, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring operational excellence. Your role will also involve managing and developing a team, building client relationships, and driving growth opportunities for client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Media Plan Origination
  • Work with the Account Director and clients to create clear, coherent media plans that bring the media strategy to life.
  • Evaluate and recommend media options that best align with client objectives.
  • Lead the development of creative media initiatives that deepen strategy and enhance impact.
  • Collaborate in the creative development process when required.
Account Management & Campaign Leadership
  • Own the day-to-day management of the implementation process, ensuring campaigns meet client criteria (budget, target, etc.).
  • Be the primary client contact for all aspects of the media plan implementation.
  • Prepare and manage detailed briefs for third-party units (e.g., buying teams).
  • Report competitive data and ensure the timely delivery of media plans and status reports.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and develop a team, including Account Executives and Planners, delegating tasks and offering clear direction.
  • Share key learnings and ensure best practices are applied within the team.
Optimization & Performance Tracking
  • Optimize campaigns in real-time to address business challenges and meet client needs.
  • Ensure post-campaign reporting quantifies the success of media strategies and implementation.
High Standards & Integration
  • Maintain the highest standards of work quality and client service.
  • Think as a solutions provider, always encouraging the use of integrated agency services to create cohesive campaigns.
  • Contribute to creating award-winning work and challenge mediocrity in all deliverables.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification and 4-5 years of industry experience, particularly in media planning and buying.
  • Strong understanding of media fundamentals and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Experience managing a team or leading junior staff members is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of digital media platforms and their integration into broader media strategies.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to rapidly changing priorities, and work under pressure.
