About the Role
The Singapore manufacturing team is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Engineer with strong proficiency in Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and hands-on experience maintaining mechanical, instrumentation, high-temperature furnace, and injection molding systems (metal, powder, plastic, and ceramic). You will be responsible for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, ensuring stable operations, optimal equipment efficiency, and strict safety compliance.
This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys solving complex mechanical, thermal, and process challenges in a regulated industrial environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, piping networks, instrumentation, furnace equipment, and injection molding machinery (metal, powder, plastic, and ceramic)
- Diagnose and resolve faults involving valves, pumps, flow systems, instrumentation loops, thermal equipment, and injection molding systems
- Ensure furnace and molding operations meet strict safety, quality, and performance standards
- Read, interpret, and update Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Verify that systems are installed, modified, and maintained according to approved engineering designs
- Support engineering during system upgrades, new equipment installation, and molding process optimization
- High-Temperature Furnace Operations (Preferred)
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot high-temperature furnaces, kilns, thermal processing equipment, and injection molding systems (MIM, PIM, plastic, ceramic)
- Maintain temperature control systems, burners, thermocouples, insulation, refractory materials, and molding process parameters
- Support process optimization to improve furnace and molding efficiency, reduce downtime, and maintain product quality
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with EHS standards and regulatory requirements
- Conduct hazard assessments and apply strict safe work practices
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, molding parameters, and P&ID updates
- Prepare failure analysis reports and improvement recommendations
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related Engineering field
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting P&ID diagrams
- Solid mechanical troubleshooting experience in industrial/manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience with valves, pumps, instrumentation, process equipment, and injection molding systems (metal, powder, plastic, ceramic)
- Preferred (Added Advantage)
- Experience with high-temperature furnace operations or thermal systems
- Knowledge of combustion systems, refractory maintenance, or thermal process control
- Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, or automation systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
- High safety awareness and discipline
- Good communication and technical documentation skills
